What's New in Maintenance Manager for Manufacturing?
Release Notes 10.05.2026 - Version 26.03
New Feature and Improvements
In the current release of Maintenance Manager for Manufacturing, the following features, fixes and improvements have been implemented:
Redesigned Inventory Experience
This release delivers a significant update to inventory management:
Expanded Inventory Grid View
The inventory grid now shows stock locations as expandable rows beneath each item, giving a clear view of where stock is held across the organisation.
Stock Management tab
Clicking an item in the grid now takes you directly to the Stock Management tab, where each stock location is shown as an expandable card. Each card displays the location name, quantity, cost per unit, and supplier. Cards can be expanded to view full details and restock options.
Location and Supplier filters
Location and Supplier filters are now available on the inventory grid and the Purchase History tab, on web, mobile and tablet.
Delete Items and Stock Locations
Admins can now delete inventory items and individual stock locations. Completed work orders are excluded from the impact check, and a confirmation dialog shows what will be affected before deletion.
-
[DELETED] label on removed parts: Parts sourced from deleted stock locations also display a [DELETED] label in completed work orders and in the Purchase History tab, so the historical record remains clear.
WO Parts and PM Parts- Card- Based Experience
The parts experience across the Work Order and PM to be more visual and informative.
-
WO Parts Tab: Parts are now displayed as cards, giving you a clear view of each item including stock location and quantity details.
-
WO Add Parts Screen: When adding parts to a Work Order, items appear in a card-based hierarchical layout with the average cost visible on each card.
-
PM Add Parts Screen: Parts on a PM are also displayed as cards, making it easy for users to browse and directly add required parts.
Parts automatically transferred from PM to Work Order
When a work order is generated from a Preventive Maintenance schedule, all parts added to the PM are now automatically transferred to the work order. If the requested quantity is available in stock, the part is added in full. If stock is insufficient, the available quantity is added, and a shortfall indicator shows how many more are needed.
You can resolve a shortfall by selecting stock from an additional location; once fulfilled, the indicator turns green. The Activity tab on completed work orders shows a full parts and cost breakdown, including any parts that could not be fulfilled.
Duplicate Inventory Items
Admin can create a copy of an existing inventory item using Duplicate option. All fields are pre-filled from the original, the item name is set to "Copy of [original name]" and can be edited before saving. Stock details are not copied and must be added separately.
Requestor Work Orders now Land in Requested Status
Work orders created by Requestors now land in a Requested status instead of New. A dedicated Requested column is visible in Kanban view. Admins and Technicians can review pending requests and move them to any appropriate status.
Work orders created by Admins and Technicians continue to land in New status as before. The Work Order Settings Workflow tab now displays an updated Active Path card reflecting this flow.
Work Order Total Cost for Admins
Admins can now see the total cost of a work order, combined labour and parts, displayed on the work order detail screen. Cost values are calculated from logged time, technician rate, and parts used. This field is visible to admins only.
Priority Shown on Work Order Creation Preview
The priority level is now shown on the "Does this look right?" review screen before submitting a work order.
-
For Low, Medium, and High-priority work orders, the priority field is editable from this screen.
-
For Critical work orders, priority is shown prominently at the top of the screen with an urgency note next to the due date. You can also change/update the Critical priority in the Preview screen.
Bug Fixes
Pagination controls in inventory management now display correctly when the page size is increased beyond the current record count.
